Download and Install Voxeo VoiceObjects Developer Edition (Step-by-Step)
VoiceObjects by Voxeo (now part of Enghouse Networks) is a powerful, visual integrated development environment (IDE) used to create, test, and deploy interactive voice response (IVR) systems, intelligent virtual agents, and multi-channel self-service applications.
The VoiceObjects Developer Edition allows developers to build complex voice applications without writing code, utilizing a drag-and-drop interface.
Note: As Voxeo was acquired by Enghouse, this guide refers to accessing the developer toolset within the Enghouse Interactive environment. Prerequisites
Before downloading, ensure your workstation meets the following requirements: Operating System: Windows 10 or higher (64-bit). RAM: Minimum 8GB (16GB recommended). Processor: Intel Core i5 or equivalent.
Software: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK) installed. Storage: At least 2GB of free space. Step-by-Step Installation Guide Step 1: Download the VoiceObjects Installer
Visit the Developer Portal: Go to the official Enghouse Interactive Support or Partner Portal.
Locate VoiceObjects: Navigate to the “Downloads” or “Software” section and search for “VoiceObjects Developer Edition.”
Download the Installer: Select the latest version compatible with your operating system and download the .zip or .exe file. Step 2: Extract and Prepare Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder.
If it is a .zip file, right-click it and select Extract All. Ensure your antivirus does not block the extracted files. Step 3: Run the Installer
Double-click the extracted setup.exe or VoiceObjects_Installer.exe file. If a security warning appears, click Run or Yes. The installation wizard will appear. Click Next to begin. Step 4: Installation Configuration License Agreement: Read and accept the licensing terms.
Installation Directory: Choose the installation path (default C:\Program Files\Enghouse\VoiceObjects is recommended).
Component Selection: Ensure “Developer Edition” or “VoiceObjects Designer” is checked.

Configure Application Server: Within VoiceObjects Designer, configure the local application server to enable testing of your voice applications on your local machine.
